Global Order Management Specialist – Global Order Management, Demand & Supply, Lund

What you will do

• Respond to order-related inquiries, analyze returns, and optimize global order management processes.
• Coordinate production plans and sales orders with Demand & Supply, Sales Operations, planners, production, warehouses, and logistics partners.
• Provide delivery estimates, stakeholder updates, and transparent communication through established global forums.
• Analyze global demand and order backlog with Master Schedulers to support demand fulfillment and respond to changes.
• Manage allocation, delivery follow-up, deviation handling, cross-border shipments, and operational issues involving lead times, capacity, and transport.

Requirements

• University degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or equivalent.
• At least 5 years of hands-on experience in similar operational roles within an international or global supply chain environment.
• Practical experience with end-to-end global order flows, including order management, planning coordination, allocation, delivery follow-up, and deviation handling.
• Experience with import and export operations, customs documentation, Incoterms, trade compliance, freight forwarders, and customs brokers.
• Experience managing cross-border shipments and resolving lead-time, capacity, and transport-deviation issues.
• Daily experience using ERP systems in transaction-heavy environments for order handling, inventory visibility, reporting, and master data updates.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office, reporting, and KPI tracking.
• Experience working in a global matrix organization with sales, production, warehouses, forwarders, and regional supply chain teams.
• Strong understanding of cultural differences and collaboration across regions, time zones, and organizational levels.
• Excellent written and spoken English and Swedish required.
