Application Support Engineer (IT Operations): Supporting business investment banking applications in a hybrid Porto project with an accent on L2/L3 support, technical operations, monitoring, and infrastructure documentation. Focus on coordinating server moves and electrical shutdowns, configuring application alerts, and troubleshooting Windows, Linux, virtualized environments, networks, and API gateways.

What you will do

Provide L2 and L3 application support according to ITIL best practices.
Coordinate technical changes and operations, including electrical shutdowns and server moves.
Draft and update operational instructions and document software and technical architectures.
Configure and monitor application alerts.

Requirements

Experience in L2 and L3 support based on ITIL best practices.
Good knowledge of Windows and Linux operating systems.
Understanding of virtualized environments, including servers and API gateways.
Good knowledge of ticketing systems such as Jira or ServiceNow.
Good knowledge of scripting languages such as PowerShell and Bash.
Good knowledge of network concepts, including DHCP, firewalls, routing, proxies, and web-based client/server applications.
English required.
