Application Support Engineer – Cloud & Kubernetes

Location: Lisbon, Portugal; hybrid work with up to 2 remote days per week. Candidates must have an existing legal right to work in Europe.

Salary: €3,150–€3,780 monthly for B2B; €1,800–€2,050 net monthly under a permanent contract.

What you will do

• Operate and support infrastructure across OpenStack, Windows Server, and Linux.
• Manage application servers including Tomcat and Apache.
• Administer job scheduling and file-transfer processes with Control-M and CFT.
• Support deployments and orchestration using AWS, Kubernetes, and ArgoCD.
• Monitor systems and manage incidents with ServiceNow and Dynatrace.
• Apply ITIL practices, investigate issues, resolve incidents, and provide shift and on-call support when required.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of experience in application support, infrastructure operations, or a related field.
• Practical experience with OpenStack, Windows Server, and Linux.
• Knowledge of Tomcat, Apache, Control-M, and CFT.
• Experience with AWS, Kubernetes, and ArgoCD.
• Familiarity with ServiceNow and Dynatrace.
• Understanding of ITIL practices and incident management.
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and analytical skills, with a proactive mindset and ability to work effectively in a team.
• Communicative English and French required.
• Existing legal right to work in Europe required.
