What you will do

• Localize, translate, and adapt multimedia, legal, technical, and marketing content according to style guides.
• Write copy for music, TV, app store, video-on-demand, and game subscription products.
• Review and copy-edit linguistic content, fact-check information, and perform LQA testing on live platforms.
• Research Brazilian-market content, terminology, cultural treatment, and localization trends.
• Transcribe spoken content, including lyrics, and report on media data and assets.
• Review linguistic assessments, create training materials, and collaborate with global language teams to calibrate terminology and style.

Requirements

• BS/BA and 2+ years of experience in journalism, copywriting, or copyediting media content such as music, TV, and applications, with writing samples.
• Experience translating and localizing multimedia content.
• Native-level written and spoken Brazilian Portuguese and fluent written and verbal English.
• Broad knowledge of music artists, TV, cinema, gaming, and pop culture.
• Ability to detect issues and inconsistencies across large volumes of content and make sound linguistic decisions.
• Ability to manage the language market, multitask, prioritize, meet deadlines, and work independently remotely.
• Strong computer literacy and ability to type in the native-level language using a local English keyboard.
• Collaborative approach and ability to work in a multicultural environment.
