Native Spanish-Language InDesign Localization Specialist (AI)

Location: Remote; flexible schedule with agreed availability for project coordination and review.

Compensation: Hourly 1099 contract.

hirify.global is preparing AI-translated InDesign eLearning courses for Spanish localization, validation, and final delivery.

What you will do

• Review AI-translated courses and prepare localized InDesign files for final QA and delivery.
• Validate terminology, instructions, labels, navigation text, and learner-facing content against the English source.
• Adjust layouts for approximately 30% Spanish text expansion.
• Resolve overflow, clipping, wrapping, spacing, font sizing, and button or label fit issues.
• Review completed courses in context and flag unclear source meaning or terminology without making unsupported assumptions.

Requirements

• Native Spanish speaker with strong English proficiency.
• Experience with InDesign and reviewing, editing, or validating translated or localized content.
• Ability to edit text, layouts, formatting, buttons, labels, and slide elements.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to compare translated content with English source material.
• Ability to work within existing course files without unnecessarily changing functionality or design.

Nice to have

• Previous eLearning localization experience.
• Familiarity with accessibility considerations in digital learning.
• Experience validating AI-generated translations.
