Strategy & Solutions Lead (AI)

What you will do

• Own the intake, shaping, and executive pursue/park/decline decisions for strategic enterprise opportunities requiring new capabilities, integrations, packaging, or market positioning.
• Lead senior pharma R&D and commercial discussions, grounding discovery in workflows such as target identification, Target Product Profile development, candidate selection, indication expansion, and lifecycle management.
• Translate ambiguous customer needs into scalable solution concepts, delivery paths, commercial boundaries, success criteria, dependencies, and mutual commitments.
• Design and steer integrations, data flows, security, deployment models, and reference architectures across hirify.global’s platform, APIs, data model, internal data lakes, knowledge systems, and enterprise AI tooling.
• Build repeatable playbooks for Private Data, enterprise integrations, and AI workflows, then validate them through a limited number of lighthouse opportunities.
• Institutionalize validated plays through BAU handoff, training, enablement assets, ownership clarity, and structured feedback to Product.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience at the intersection of pharma or life sciences strategy, AI and data, and enterprise customers, including senior R&D and commercial stakeholder engagement and scalable solution development.
• Background in life science strategy or AI consulting at Engagement Manager / Associate Partner level, with substantial R&D or commercial work and ownership of AI or data programs from strategy through scale-up, or in enterprise solutions/solutions strategy for B2B SaaS serving pharma and biotech.
• Deep understanding of end-to-end pharma R&D and commercial workflows and how data and AI can transform them.
• Hands-on experience building, deploying, and/or integrating enterprise technology solutions, including data platforms, AI and LLM applications, APIs, and system integrations through production.
• Ability to read and challenge solution architectures, reason through data pipelines, APIs, and integration patterns, and understand how AI and LLM systems are built and evaluated, including retrieval-augmented generation, agentic workflows, and knowledge graphs.
• Experience turning complex enterprise demand into repeatable playbooks covering qualification, scoping, pilot design, and BAU handoff.
• Strong judgment in making and defending pursue/park/decline recommendations based on product direction, feasibility, scalability, and business impact.
• Ability to drive executive decision-making across Product, Engineering, and go-to-market functions and translate technical trade-offs into clear business choices.

Nice to have

• Scientific or quantitative background, such as an advanced degree in life sciences, engineering, or a related field.
• Experience with AI or GenAI programs in pharma from use-case definition through scaled deployment.
• Prior technical experience as a forward-deployed engineer, data scientist, software engineer, or technical product manager.
• Familiarity with enterprise data governance in regulated environments, including GxP, data privacy, and information security reviews.
• Exposure to market expansion, new-segment go-to-market, technology partnerships, or solution incubation.
