Finance Systems Analyst (Fintech)

Location: London, United Kingdom; hybrid attendance at the London office 2–3 days per week. Working from abroad is available for up to 120 days per year, subject to having the right to work in the country of choice.

What you will do

• Monitor finance systems, investigate alerts, and resolve issues affecting data flows and reporting.
• Administer systems, perform month-end controls, and document access and changes.
• Investigate root causes of data and reconciliation issues and recommend practical solutions.
• Work with Finance, data, Technology, and Product stakeholders to understand requirements and set priorities.
• Prepare and test the new general ledger and wider finance systems changes.
• Support reporting requirements, product launches, and process automation with appropriate checks and controls.

Requirements

• Understanding of finance, accounting, and reporting processes, with the ability to apply this knowledge to systems or data problems.
• Ability to investigate unclear problems and explain findings and recommendations.
• Careful approach to system changes, including testing, documentation, and controls.
• Ability to organise competing requests and communicate clearly with a range of stakeholders.
• Ownership mindset, willingness to seek support when needed, and interest in learning new systems and ways of working.

Nice to have

• Experience administering finance systems or supporting SAP.
• Working knowledge of SQL, data visualisation, or reconciliations across data sources.
• Exposure to financial services, regulated environments, or ERP migrations.
• Experience with automation, AI, Snowflake, Python, or dbt.
