Senior Business and Data Analyst (Snowflake/AI)

Location: Henley-on-Thames, Oxfordshire, United Kingdom. Hybrid workplace model with at least four full days per week in the advertised office.

What you will do

• Gather, document, review, and maintain business, functional, and data requirements for Distribution solutions and process enhancements.
• Support implementation and enhancement of client data capabilities, data mastering systems, and strategic initiatives such as Client Book of Record and Global Client Master.
• Own smaller initiatives, including delivery updates, risk and issue management, and collaboration with business, technology, functional, and vendor stakeholders.
• Support legacy-system migration by mapping sources end to end, producing data-flow diagrams, and expanding the data catalogue.
• Review data usage to identify redundant or duplicated datasets for consolidation or retirement, while contributing to data governance, data quality, and data management.
• Use AI capabilities and tools where appropriate, including building or maintaining full AI solutions and GenAI Agents, and provide consultative support to Engineering Run/Support teams.

Requirements

• Proven asset management experience, ideally as an in-house employee or service provider.
• Experience with Transfer Agent operations or Distributor platform operations, including understanding how fund subscriptions and redemptions are processed.
• Deep exposure to Transfer Agent and back-office position and transaction data.
• Deep knowledge of Snowflake data-processing capabilities and Snowflake tools such as Cortex Code for AI.
• Knowledge of AI capabilities such as Microsoft Copilot, AWS Bedrock, and other agentic technologies.
• Strong understanding of business and data analysis, requirements analysis, data flows, data quality, and scalable data solutions.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate clearly with senior business users, IT management, and internal teams.
• Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, including root-cause analysis, with a structured, disciplined, and detail-oriented approach.
• Bachelor’s degree in Management Information Systems or Computer Science is preferred, or commensurate relevant work experience.

Nice to have

• Understanding of how CSDs such as Clearstream or Euroclear operate mutual fund transactions.
• Knowledge of AWS services, APIs, and DevOps, or willingness to undertake training in these areas.
