Capex Project Lead (MedTech)

Location: Sesto Fiorentino, Firenze, Italy; onsite at hirify.global's Sesto Fiorentino site

Salary: €41,600 minimum annually

What you will do

• Define the site investment plan with the Plant Manager and Engineering Manager, translating operational priorities into engineering projects.
• Lead assigned CAPEX projects from technical definition and approval documentation through installation, testing, start-up, closure, and operational handover.
• Manage scope, schedules, costs, risks, actions, estimates, reporting, and project records.
• Coordinate installation and commissioning of equipment, utilities, machinery, and plant systems.
• Work with Production, Quality, Maintenance, EHS, Engineering, contractors, suppliers, and technical partners while minimizing disruption to operations.
• Support qualification activities, IQ/OQ documentation, EHS risk assessments, and compliance with GMP, quality, safety, and environmental standards.

Requirements

• Degree in Engineering or equivalent technical education.
• Experience in engineering, maintenance, facilities, utilities, or capital-project execution; regulated manufacturing experience is positively considered.
• Understanding of project management fundamentals, including scope, schedule, cost, risk, supplier coordination, and reporting.
• Strong planning, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to coordinate stakeholders and keep projects progressing.
• Good English required for technical documentation and communication with internal and external stakeholders.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of GMP, EHS, technical documentation, and equipment or utility qualification principles.
