AI Phone Product Lead (AI)

What you will do

• Define the overall product experience and direction for an AI-native phone.
• Identify high-value everyday workflows where AI can improve user experience, including proactive assistance and contextual interactions.
• Define how users interact with AI across the operating system and applications.
• Translate product ideas into clear engineering requirements and work with Android and AI teams to assess technical feasibility.
• Prioritize capabilities for the first prototype and eventual launch.
• Conduct user research and validate interaction patterns so AI interactions feel natural and effortless.

Requirements

• Strong product management experience, ideally with consumer mobile or platform products.
• Experience building and launching products from early stages.
• Strong understanding of mobile UX and user behavior.
• Ability to translate ambiguous product ideas into concrete requirements.
• Strong technical understanding and ability to work closely with engineers.
• Good product judgment and prioritization skills.

Nice to have

• Experience with AI assistants, agentic products, or productivity applications.
• Experience with operating systems or mobile ecosystems.
• Experience with voice interfaces and proactive experiences.
• Experience with consumer applications at scale.
