Senior Product Manager (AI)

Location: Hybrid in Palo Alto, California, with in-office collaboration required at least 3 days per week.

Salary: $174,664.32–$218,330.40 per year, plus equity.

What you will do

• Own the strategy, roadmap, and execution for Lifecycle Management, beginning with time off, leave of absence, and time tracking.
• Translate customer needs, market insights, and business goals into prioritized product requirements across country-specific rules.
• Define AI-agent use cases for employee workflows such as balance questions, leave requests, and timesheet checks.
• Partner with engineering on architecture trade-offs, API design, technical feasibility, accrual logic, policy configuration, tenure inheritance, and payroll handoffs.
• Use SQL and product data to analyze usage and support patterns, instrument features, define success metrics, and run experiments.
• Communicate roadmaps, trade-offs, and progress across engineering, design, operations, onboarding, and leadership.

Requirements

• 5+ years of Product Management experience.
• Track record of owning a product area from discovery through shipped and adopted features.
• Hands-on experience testing products before release and editing FAQs and documentation.
• Ability to write SQL, size problems with numbers, and quantify the impact of shipped work.
• Experience using AI tools effectively, with judgment to check and improve their output.
• Curiosity about complex, rule-heavy systems that vary by jurisdiction.
• Strong written and verbal communication, including collaboration with engineers, designers, and operations teams and presentations to leadership.
• Experience in a startup or fast-paced environment.

Nice to have

• HR tech, FinTech, payroll, or global workforce experience.
• Experience taking a product from 0–1.
