Lead, Product Management & Innovation (AI)

Location: São Paulo, Brazil; minimum three days per week working in person at a client location or Bain home office; regional travel required approximately 50% of the time.

What you will do

• Lead the development of omnichannel products and solutions with Bain consultants, clients, engineers, designers, researchers, and QA teams.
• Apply human-centered design, user research, ideation, journey mapping, and service design to shape product direction.
• Translate business, user, and technical insights into product requirements, user stories, backlog priorities, roadmaps, and acceptance criteria.
• Guide agile delivery from research and planning through POCs, MVPs, testing, implementation, and product execution.
• Manage trade-offs involving user needs, business value, technical feasibility, scope, and delivery requirements.
• Define product success measures, communicate progress and risks, support client adoption, and contribute to internal capabilities and intellectual property.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Engineering, Design, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of experience delivering innovation in consulting, technology, industry, or startup environments.
• Experience using insights to guide product decisions balancing business value, technical feasibility, user needs, and business goals.
• Experience managing software product development with exposure to AI solutions and using generative AI-powered product development tools.
• Experience with design thinking and leading or facilitating innovation workshops.
• Ability to explain product technology to technical and non-technical audiences and rapidly interpret technical information.
• Experience with agile project management, including Scrum, and familiarity with Lean Startup principles.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, independent prioritization, collaboration in complex and ambiguous situations, curiosity, proactivity, and critical thinking.
• Passion for delivering high-impact client results and collaborating across levels, offices, and regions.

Nice to have

• Experience supporting the architecture and implementation of AI or technology solutions.
• Spanish language proficiency is highly preferred.
