Manufacturing Engineer (Fabrication & Paint)

Location: On-site in Rayong, Thailand, five days a week at hirify.global (Thailand) Ltd. (CRTT). Working hours are Monday–Friday, 07:30 am–04:30 pm.

What you will do

• Provide engineering support for fabrication and painting operations, improving process flow, cycle time, productivity, quality, safety, ergonomics, reliability, and cost.
• Lead manufacturing process audits and investigate process or equipment problems, implementing corrective and preventive improvements.
• Support New Product Introduction through process design, readiness activities, lifting-device development, equipment requirements, and engineering changes.
• Develop, modify, install, and continuously improve manufacturing equipment, tooling, fixtures, material-handling systems, and lifting devices.
• Lead digital manufacturing and Industry 4.0 initiatives, including automated tracking, monitoring, process traceability, and real-time quality control.
• Prepare manufacturing improvement business cases and cost calculations with Finance and other cross-functional stakeholders.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing, Mechanical, Industrial, Production Engineering, or a related discipline, or equivalent relevant manufacturing experience.
• At least 2 years of relevant experience in manufacturing engineering, process engineering, production engineering, or a related manufacturing environment.
• Practical experience with fabrication, welding, industrial painting, coating, assembly, or other manufacturing processes.
• Experience identifying and implementing improvements in process flow, cycle time, productivity, quality, safety, ergonomics, or manufacturing cost.
• Working knowledge of Control Plans, PFMEA, SFMEA, root cause analysis, process audits, and manufacturing risk management.
• Experience developing, modifying, or supporting manufacturing processes, equipment, tooling, fixtures, material-handling systems, or lifting devices.
• Ability to investigate manufacturing problems, identify root causes, develop corrective actions, and monitor their effectiveness.
• Ability to collaborate with Production, Quality, Safety, Supply Chain, Finance, Maintenance, Product Engineering, and other manufacturing stakeholders.

Nice to have

• Experience with PLCs, automation systems, or automated production equipment.
• Experience with New Product Introduction, including process design, tooling, and engineering changes.
• Experience in fabrication and/or industrial paint operations, Lean Manufacturing, Industry 4.0, digital manufacturing, automation, or process monitoring systems.
• Experience with project cost analysis, manufacturing cost reduction, process audits, and corrective actions.
