Test Engineer, Senior

Location: Hybrid work in Thailand, based out of a partner manufacturing site in Phetchaburi Province, Khao Yoi District, with regular travel to the contract manufacturer and occasional travel outside the region.

What you will do

• Provide on-site support for printer test systems used in Zebra product manufacturing.
• Support printer product testing during New Product Introduction and ongoing manufacturing operations.
• Develop and sustain test software and design test circuits for calibration and functional testing of electronic and opto-mechanical products.
• Validate test systems using Measurement System Analysis tools, including Cpk and GR&R.
• Implement manufacturing test systems with US-based Test and Design Engineering teams, participate in design reviews, and perform Design-for-Test product analysis.
• Improve quality, lean solutions, test-system cost, cycle time, Industry 4.0 digitization and automation, capacity planning, and manufacturing delivery execution.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, IT, or a related field.
• 5+ years of work experience.
• Ability to regularly travel to the contract manufacturer in Phetchaburi Province, Khao Yoi District.
• Ability to communicate in English with internal stakeholders.
• Ability to travel locally between manufacturing facilities and occasionally outside the region.

Nice to have

• Prior in-house Six Sigma training or certification.
• Experience drafting test plans.
• Supplier management experience.
