Process Engineering Assistant/Manager (Lean Manufacturing)

Location: Rayong, Thailand; onsite plant-based role

What you will do

• Lead the Process Engineering team, set objectives, coach engineers, and develop department capability.
• Drive process optimization, automation, technology roadmaps, productivity, yield, quality, material efficiency, flow, layout, and capacity improvements.
• Establish and maintain process control systems, including SPC, Control Plans, Process Capability Analysis, and PFMEA.
• Lead root cause analysis, DMAIC, 8D, Lean Six Sigma, Kaizen, and continuous improvement initiatives to reduce scrap and improve productivity.
• Oversee process changes, new equipment introduction, trials, pilot runs, commissioning, new product introduction, and scaling into mass production.
• Coordinate with Production, Quality, Maintenance, Safety, Commercial, R&D, Sustainability, HR, Supply Chain, customers, and regional engineering teams.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in industrial, mechanical, or electrical engineering; a master’s degree in industrial engineering is an advantage.
• At least 10 years of experience in Process Engineering.
• Proven skills in material efficiency, flow, productivity, quality, plant layout, and capacity improvement.
• Proven knowledge and experience in Continuous Improvement, Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and Kaizen.
• Proven skills in SPC, FMEA, MSA, Control Plans, DOE, RCA, and related process engineering methods.
• Proven leadership in communication, collaboration, and motivation.
• Proven people management skills, including coaching, performance management, employee engagement, and team development.
• Proven presentation and storytelling skills.
