Intern – Manufacturing Engineer (Studying Bachelor or Master's Degree)

Location: BangPa-in, Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya, Thailand; onsite at BangPa-In Building 2.

What you will do

• Lead a defined engineering or process-improvement project in slider/HGA manufacturing operations with clear deliverables and measurable outcomes.
• Apply graduate-level engineering knowledge to real manufacturing challenges.
• Perform data analysis, technical documentation, and experiment design with guidance from a senior engineer mentor.
• Present findings to the engineering team at the program midpoint and close.
• Participate in structured learning sessions, assessments, and IDP-lite conversations.
• Contribute technical insights that can be applied after the internship.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Materials Science, or a related field.
• Completed a Bachelor's degree in engineering or a technical discipline.
• Strong academic record with an active thesis or research project.
• Available for a structured 3–6 month internship.
• Advanced technical problem-solving and research skills.
• Data analysis proficiency in Minitab, Python, MATLAB, or an equivalent tool.
• Strong written and verbal English communication skills.
• Ability to independently manage a project workstream and collaborate professionally in a manufacturing environment.

Nice to have

• Thesis or research related to manufacturing, materials, process optimization, or precision engineering.
• Experience with experimental design, statistical analysis, or process simulation.
• Exposure to Lean, Six Sigma, or quality engineering methodologies.
• Prior industry internship or research collaboration with a manufacturing firm.
