Senior Director, Infrastructure, Enterprise Architecture & End User Services

Location: Hybrid schedule required at the Bloomington, MN office; international relocation and remote work outside the U.S. are not considered.

Annual salary: $217,920–$272,400, plus eligibility for an annual incentive plan.

What you will do

• Develop and execute global infrastructure, enterprise architecture, and end user services strategies aligned with business, manufacturing, cybersecurity, and technology priorities.
• Lead cloud, network, data center, compute, storage, collaboration, endpoint, service desk, and workplace technology services.
• Build an enterprise architecture function, define target-state architectures and standards, and translate business strategy into technology roadmaps and investment decisions.
• Modernize infrastructure through hybrid cloud, automation, infrastructure as code, platform engineering, observability, AIOps, containers, and standardized service patterns.
• Improve digital employee experience through service quality, device and collaboration capabilities, self-service, knowledge management, measurement, and AI-enabled support.
• Own service performance, financial management, capacity, continuity, disaster recovery, vendors, sourcing, contracts, and transformation outcomes while building a high-performing global organization.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, engineering, business, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
• 10+ years of progressive information technology experience, including 7+ years leading managers and multidisciplinary enterprise technology teams.
• Experience developing and executing modernization strategies and multi-year roadmaps across global infrastructure, cloud, architecture, or end user services.
• Experience leading enterprise technology services in a complex, distributed environment with accountability for operational performance, financial management, vendors, and major transformation programs.
• Experience establishing architecture governance and translating business capabilities and strategy into technology standards, investment decisions, and delivery plans.

Nice to have

• Technology leadership experience in global manufacturing, industrial technology, critical infrastructure, or a Fortune 1000 enterprise.
• Knowledge of public cloud and hybrid platforms, networking, identity, collaboration, endpoint management, modern data centers, resilience, and digital workplace services.
• Experience with platform engineering, Kubernetes or container platforms, infrastructure as code, DevOps, APIs, automation, observability, and AIOps.
• Experience building enterprise architecture practices spanning business, solution, data, application, integration, security, and technology architecture.
• Experience with Zero Trust, secure-by-design, segmentation, disaster recovery, business continuity, and operational resilience.
• Knowledge of Technology Business Management, SaaS optimization, product operating models, service management, and experience-level agreements.
• Experience enabling AI, advanced analytics, automation, smart manufacturing, edge computing, or other modern digital capabilities.
• Strong commercial, sourcing, contract negotiation, executive communication, stakeholder alignment, team-building, and succession-planning skills.
