Senior Manager, Infrastructure Finance (AI/Cloud)

Location: San Francisco, CA, United States; hybrid workplace.

Salary: $180,000–$260,000 yearly.

Canva is a design technology company developing a global platform whose infrastructure, cloud, compute, GPU, and AI investments support its products.

What you will do

• Build and maintain commitment trackers and financial models covering ramps, shortfalls, rollovers, prepayments, and free cash flow.
• Convert AI Platform and FinOps utilization data into reconciled GPU and non-GPU capacity views.
• Own the savings baseline used by Platform, GenAI, and Finance.
• Partner with Accounting and technical accounting on shortfall and prepayment recognition in the P&L.
• Prepare commitment sizing, break-even, scenario, renewal, and realised-benefit analyses for executives and the CFO.
• Partner with Finance, Procurement, FinOps, and Platform teams on forecasts, vendor onboarding, contract terms, and flex-down dates.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in strategic finance, infrastructure finance, or cloud finance, with expertise in commitment and capacity questions.
• Strong financial modelling skills for take-or-pay or committed contracts, ramps, and break-even analysis.
• Working knowledge of cloud and GPU economics, including Reserved Instances, Savings Plans, Capacity Blocks, Committed Use Discounts, and neocloud contracts.
• Strong data proficiency and daily comfort with a BI tool such as Mode, Looker, Omni, or similar.
• Ability to challenge senior engineering and procurement stakeholders with data and communicate recommendations to the CFO.
• Fluent use of AI tools for model building and daily analytical work.
• Experience with FP&A rhythms including monthly close, quarterly forecasting, and planning cycles.

Nice to have

• Accounting literacy covering prepayments and shortfall recognition.
• Experience with Anaplan or another enterprise planning tool.
• Exposure to FinOps practices and tooling, or experience at a hyperscale or AI-heavy company.
