Investment Banking Analyst II, Advisory, Consumer & Retail/Restaurant

Location: Los Angeles, California, United States; the description also identifies Charlotte, North Carolina as the position location.

Salary: $115,000–$120,000 per year, plus potential incentive earnings.

What you will do

• Support sell-side and buy-side advisory, capital raises, and strategic advisory engagements for Consumer & Retail/Restaurant companies with enterprise value below $500 million.
• Manage deal flow and participate in all stages of transaction execution.
• Prepare and review financial models, business valuations, marketing materials, and pitch presentations.
• Conduct industry and company due diligence.
• Lead or participate in meetings with current and prospective clients.
• Assist with business development and collaborate with senior bankers across multiple industries.

Requirements

• 1+ year of experience managing or assisting with financial models and business valuations.
• 1–2 years of experience in investment banking, transaction advisory, accounting, or a similar role.
• Experience leading or participating in client and prospect meetings.
• Experience conducting industry and company due diligence.
• Professional communication and technical skills; resourcefulness and diligence.
• Ownership mindset, ability and desire to act, self-starter approach, and strong work ethic.
• Ability to work efficiently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
