Experienced Investment Banking Analyst 1 or 2, Diversified Industrials Group

Location: Boston, MA, US; onsite

Salary: USD 110,000–120,000 per year

What you will do

• Work with senior bankers on strategic assignments within the Diversified Industrials industry vertical.
• Support business development and investment banking transactions, including mergers and acquisitions, public offerings, and private placements.
• Prepare financial analyses covering company valuation, projections, and peer analysis.
• Create pitch books, management presentations, information memoranda, and other client materials.
• Coordinate and perform due diligence while developing industry-specific knowledge.
• Participate in recruiting efforts.

Requirements

• 6–18 months of experience in sell-side M&A.
• Bachelor’s degree with a minimum 3.5 GPA.
• Strong knowledge of business software, especially Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Basic corporate finance and accounting knowledge.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, strong work ethic, and a team-oriented approach.
• Ability to manage multiple projects with competing priorities and exercise judgment and discretion in confidential situations.
• Flexibility to work long hours, nights, and weekends as needed.
• Securities Industry Essentials Exam.
• Upon hiring, successful completion of the FINRA Limited Representative-Investment Banking Exam (Series 79) and Uniformed Securities Agent State Law Exam (Series 63).
