Strategic Planning Analyst II (Banking)

Location: Kansas City, Missouri, United States; hybrid schedule with in-office work 3 days per week. Must be eligible to work in the US without sponsorship now or in the future.

Annual salary: $93,000–$109,000.

What you will do

• Support the development, execution, and monitoring of enterprise strategic plans, Strategic Pillars, and other priorities.
• Analyze and synthesize information to provide insights for strategic decisions and identify trends, opportunities, challenges, and areas requiring focus.
• Prepare executive-level reports, presentations, meeting materials, talking points, and periodic initiative updates.
• Facilitate strategic planning, innovation, problem-solving sessions, trainings, and workshops with business and support areas.
• Support strategic programs, including Blue Chip reporting and related activities, and identify improvements to planning processes, reporting, tools, and ways of working.
• Coordinate the annual Fall Conference and other strategic meetings, executive reviews, conferences, and Strategic Planning Office programs; lead or support cross-business-unit projects.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in business or an equivalent combination of education and experience required; master’s degree preferred.
• 3+ years of banking and/or strategy experience required.
• Intermediate understanding of strategic planning best practices, innovation tools, and Agile methodologies.
• Strong financial acumen, analytical thinking, decision-making, presentation, change management, executive presence, and situational adaptability.
• Ability to work with limited direction, manage multiple priorities, maintain confidentiality, drive process improvements, and build trust with executive and senior leaders.
• Excellent written, verbal, interpersonal, collaboration, customer service, accuracy, prioritization, and attention-to-detail skills.
• Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams, SharePoint, and PowerPoint.
• Ability to travel as needed and remain adaptable and resilient in changing situations.
