Lead Product Designer (Healthcare Technology)

Location: Fully remote within the United States

Salary: $145,000–$160,000 annually plus bonus

A venture-backed healthcare technology company building an intelligent platform for independent care providers to launch, operate, and grow their businesses.

What you will do

• Own end-to-end product design for provider-facing, family-facing, and internal operational experiences from discovery through production and iteration.
• Simplify complex billing, insurance, service delivery, and business-operation workflows.
• Lead user research and service design, including stakeholder mapping, user journeys, system interactions, dependencies, and exception paths.
• Create user flows, information architecture, high-fidelity interfaces, and interactive prototypes using AI-assisted tools.
• Establish reusable design-system components, interaction patterns, and standards.
• Partner with Product, Engineering, and operational stakeholders through validation and implementation.

Requirements

• Lead-level product design experience taking complex software products from discovery through launch.
• A strong portfolio demonstrating UX/UI craft, systems thinking, service design, and the ability to simplify sophisticated workflows.
• Experience designing workflow-heavy, data-rich, or operationally complex software involving multiple users, roles, or interconnected systems.
• Practical experience with AI-assisted design and prototyping tools.
• Strong product judgment, including identifying root problems, challenging assumptions, and balancing user, operational, and technical constraints.
• Independent, hands-on working style with excellent communication skills and confidence working directly with users, engineers, and business stakeholders.
• Ability to independently lead research, UX, interaction design, visual design, prototyping, and implementation collaboration.
• Portfolio evidence of simplifying sophisticated products, processes, or service experiences, with strong hands-on capability in both broad experience design and production-ready interfaces.
• React and TypeScript proficiency is not required; this is a product design rather than design engineering role.
