Product Designer (AI)

Location: Hybrid in San Francisco or New York, United States

Salary: $145K–$185K plus equity

What you will do

• Own product design end-to-end in a 0→1 environment, influencing the roadmap, defining experiences, and shipping quickly without sacrificing craft.
• Design AI-native experiences for internal operators, clinic users, and patients across different touchpoints.
• Leverage, maintain, and scale the existing design system across products and surfaces.
• Set and maintain a high UI/UX quality bar while partnering with Product and Engineering to iterate and prioritize user value.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in B2B SaaS designing and shipping production-ready digital products; startup experience is strongly preferred.
• Experience designing for multiple user personas across different surfaces, ideally in high-stakes, complex AI-driven contexts.
• Demonstrated success building products that drive user growth and commercial results.
• A portfolio showing comprehensive flows, edge cases, varied states, scalable components, and interaction design across different user types—not only polished hero screens.
• Comfort with early-stage ambiguity, rapid decision-making, proactive feedback, fast iteration, and clear handoff.
• Deep Figma fluency: 90%+ of work using auto-layout and components, with the ability to run a Figma workshop.
• Use AI tooling in daily work across user research, storytelling, UI copy, and related activities.
• Familiarity with vibe-coding or prototyping tools such as Figma Make and Cursor, with comfort combining design and development.

• Experience as an early design hire or founding designer at a startup.
