Sr Staff Product Designer (AI)

Location: All-remote; domestic travel may be required a couple times a year. Core online collaboration hours are noon–6:00 PM Eastern / 9:00 AM–3:00 PM Pacific.

Hiring salary range: $195,300–$217,000 USD annually.

What you will do

• Own product design work end to end and remain accountable for outcomes through launch and iteration.
• Partner with business and engineering to define problems, explore solutions, validate concepts, and ship products that move key metrics.
• Use Figma Make and Claude Code to prototype flows and interfaces, using AI to accelerate solution development while directing structure, behavior, and UX quality.
• Design complete care services across workflows, processes, communications, and digital tools for clients, families, Care Professionals, and operators.
• Combine quantitative data and user research to shape UX strategy and prioritize problems.
• Contribute to patterns, prompts, processes, knowledge, critiques, and design quality across the multidisciplinary team.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in UX and product design.
• Fluency using research and quantitative data to inform design and systems thinking.
• Ability to work through ambiguity and solve complex problems strategically while balancing user needs, technical feasibility, and business goals.
• Bias toward action and an iterative approach to problem-solving.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication, including presenting and pitching design decisions logically and concisely to all organizational levels, including senior leadership.
• Strong AI-native workflow and informed opinions on how AI can improve design quality, team capacity, and business value.
• Portfolio demonstrating strong product thinking, interaction design, and shipped work.

Nice to have

• Service design and multi-channel communications experience.
• Experience with Looker, business intelligence, or product analytics.
• Familiarity with design systems and extending shared components.
• Startup experience.
• Experience in healthcare, government or civic tech, telehealth, digital health, insurance, fintech, marketplaces, consumer subscriptions, or another regulated or trust-sensitive domain.
• Personal or lived caregiving experience.
