Strategic Finance (AI)

Location: San Francisco or Palo Alto, United States; fully in-person

Salary: $200K–$250K annually, plus equity

What you will do

• Own key parts of the company model, headcount plan, and scenario analysis.
• Prepare analysis for board materials and leadership decisions.
• Analyze pricing, unit economics, compute costs, and business metrics.
• Collect, clean, and structure data from multiple sources.
• Build reporting used for hiring, pricing, and spending decisions.
• Collaborate across finance, go-to-market, and engineering.

Requirements

• A few years of experience in banking, consulting, private equity, or strategic finance at a high-growth company.
• Experience building financial models from first principles and defending assumptions rigorously.
• Ability to independently retrieve and work with raw data.
• Ability to turn complex analysis into concise recommendations that non-finance stakeholders can act on.
• Experience using AI tools to work more efficiently.
• Strong ownership, early problem identification, and motivation to eventually lead strategic finance.
