Network Company President (Automotive)

Location: New York City, New York, United States; onsite, full-time, with work performed in person across two company locations.

Salary: USD 175,000–225,000 per year.

What you will do

• Lead business strategy, operations, and full P&L management for an established automotive aftermarket supply distributor.
• Manage approximately 30 employee owners across two locations and maintain continuity during the ownership transition.
• Own accounting and financial reporting, including bookkeeping cleanup, monthly close, customer credit controls, inventory visibility, cash management, and margin discipline.
• Lead the transition to new accounting and ERP software and migrate banking and payroll systems while maintaining uninterrupted daily operations.
• Develop repeatable processes, operational metrics, financial outcomes, marketing initiatives, new product lines, and revenue opportunities.
• Manage personnel matters, supplier and purchasing relationships, financial decisions, community relationships, and the transition to the hirify.global employee-ownership model.

Requirements

• Deep accounting and finance expertise with hands-on experience cleaning up books, building reporting, and managing cash, credit, margins, pricing, and costs in a small to mid-sized business.
• Experience leading an accounting/ERP, banking, payroll, or similar systems overhaul from planning through go-live without disrupting operations.
• Experience bringing structure, processes, and accountability to a less-structured business while earning the trust of a long-tenured team.
• Experience managing hourly and frontline employees, including drivers, counter staff, warehouse staff, or similar teams in a hands-on environment.
• Track record of owning or significantly influencing the P&L of a small to mid-sized business.
• Strong communication, collaboration, interpersonal, analytical, project-management, problem-solving, and business-strategy skills.
• Hands-on, entrepreneurial, low-ego, adaptable, action-oriented leadership style with the ability to establish measurable KPIs and partner with stakeholders.

Nice to have

• Background in distribution, wholesale, or a related B2B trade business.
• Fluency in English and Spanish.
