DSP Engineer (Windows/DevOps)

Location: Aurora, Colorado, United States. U.S. citizenship is required, along with an active TS/SCI clearance and CI polygraph.

Salary: $175,000–$250,000 annually in total compensation.

What you will do

• Design, configure, harden, and maintain Windows server and workstation environments.
• Develop automation scripts, deployment templates, dashboards, and repeatable infrastructure procedures.
• Apply infrastructure-as-code and configuration management with Terraform, Chef, and/or Ansible.
• Support build, testing, integration, and delivery across on-premises and cloud infrastructure.
• Troubleshoot complex issues involving Windows systems, commercial software, virtual machines, virtual desktops, storage, and networks.
• Evaluate resource utilization, maintain documentation and configuration baselines, and assist engineering teams with Windows-based tools.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, Physics, or a related STEM discipline, plus 10+ years of related experience.
• Proven experience installing, configuring, hardening, and maintaining Windows environments.
• Hands-on experience designing, implementing, and integrating cloud infrastructure solutions; AWS experience is preferred.
• Practical experience with Terraform, Chef, and/or Ansible for infrastructure automation and configuration management.
• Experience troubleshooting complex systems involving multiple servers, commercial off-the-shelf software, VMs, VDIs, and network dependencies.
• U.S. citizenship, an active TS/SCI clearance, and a CI polygraph are required.

Nice to have

• Advanced troubleshooting of Windows performance, reliability, and distributed-system availability.
• Extensive Windows OS engineering, customization, and deployment experience.
• Python and/or Bash proficiency for automation and workflow development.
• Active Directory design and implementation experience.
• Agile development experience, including SAFe.
• Knowledge of enterprise application development and deployment processes.
• MCSE or comparable Windows platform certification.
• Security+ certification.
