Software Engineer III - DevOps (GCP)

Location: Atlanta, GA, United States

Salary: $102,300–$147,050 base pay annually; performance-based bonus and restricted stock unit awards may also be available.

What you will do

• Design, build, automate, and operate secure, scalable, and reliable GCP cloud infrastructure.
• Develop infrastructure as code with Terraform and Ansible, and build reusable platform capabilities.
• Design and maintain GitHub Actions workflows and enterprise CI/CD pipelines for cloud-native applications and platform services.
• Manage Kubernetes clusters and container platforms while monitoring availability, performance, and operational health.
• Develop Python and Bash automation, internal tools, and services that improve developer productivity and reduce manual work.
• Contribute to architecture and design reviews, code reviews, documentation, production support, and mentoring.

Requirements

• 4+ years of professional software development experience.
• Deep expertise in one or more programming languages, such as Python, Java, C#, .NET, or JavaScript.
• Experience with Terraform, Ansible, Docker, Kubernetes, Python, Bash, REST APIs, or comparable technologies.
• Extensive experience with software development practices and design patterns.
• Proficiency with GitHub or comparable version control systems and Jira or comparable work-tracking systems.
• Understanding of cloud technologies and DevOps principles, including cloud operations, monitoring, logging, and troubleshooting.
• Experience designing, implementing, and optimizing GitHub Actions and CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience with cloud platforms such as GCP, AWS, or Azure.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.

• Experience designing and operating cloud-native infrastructure and platform services.
• Familiarity with Helm charts and Kubernetes resource management.
• Experience with test automation frameworks and tools.
• Knowledge of Agile development methodologies.
• Familiarity with developing accessible technologies.
