Manufacturing Process Engineer (Sheet Metal Fabrication)

Location: Kennesaw, Georgia, United States; onsite

Salary: $76,830–$96,038 per year based on qualifications and experience, plus eligibility for a $7,500 annual bonus.

What you will do

• Develop, evaluate, and improve industrial manufacturing methods, workflows, layouts, and equipment utilization.
• Apply Lean principles to improve manufacturing efficiency and support continual improvement.
• Estimate production times, staffing requirements, space needs, and related costs for management decisions.
• Communicate manufacturing capabilities and production schedules to facilitate production.
• Coordinate with vendors on product specifications, equipment, materials, and parts, and align with relevant personnel during significant project contract reviews.
• Manage technical upgrades, equipment installation, tooling design and implementation, product evaluation, manufacturing data analysis, and health and safety reviews.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in a Lean Manufacturing environment.
• Proficient technical expertise in sheet metal fabrication.
• Experience with repetitive and build-to-suit manufacturing methodologies.
• Experience managing large and complex projects using industry tools.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong organizational, management, leadership, and analytical skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, with high competency in Excel.

• Degree in manufacturing, industrial, or mechanical engineering.
