Engineer Manufacturing (CNC)

Location: Ava, MO, USA; onsite. Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–4:00 PM, with on-call support as issues arise.

What you will do

• Develop, prove out, modify, and manage CNC programs supporting new product development.
• Create and maintain machining process documentation, manufacturing methods, procedures, and quality-control processes for scroll and component production.
• Implement process improvements and cost-reduction initiatives focused on safety, quality, cost, output, and capital improvements.
• Evaluate and enhance manufacturing equipment, tooling, processes, and procedures, identifying opportunities for practical automation.
• Lead and participate in cost-reduction teams and capital planning while collaborating with production, quality, engineering, and internal and external stakeholders.
• Develop and implement plans to meet new product development and engineering-change schedules, capacity, and capability objectives.

Requirements

• Associate degree in a technical field plus five years of related experience in CNC programming, machining methods, controls, and processes.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Good organizational, presentation, and project-management skills with the ability to interact across all company levels.
• Practical computer skills, including Microsoft Office.
• Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship now or in the future.

Nice to have

• Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering with seven years of related CNC experience.
• Successful experience supporting and executing technical projects in a high-volume machining environment.
• Hands-on experience with lean manufacturing problem-solving techniques.
• Deep understanding of scroll-process technology, including hardware, software, and automation systems.
