What you will do
- Develop and execute automated and performance testing for software products and services.
- Plan testing with Product Management, Project Management, Engineering, Operations, QA staff, technical leads, and subject matter experts.
- Report test issues and results, investigate root causes, and document findings.
- Research and implement tools that improve testing capabilities and product quality cost-effectively.
- Investigate performance issues with architects, developers, network engineers, and system engineers.
- Contribute to continuous improvement, best practices, and automation testing across the business.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in Quality Engineering, Software Testing, or a similar technical testing role.
- Strong hands-on experience with test automation, with a focus on automated rather than manual testing.
- Proven experience testing backend applications and services.
- Solid experience with API and integration testing, including automated API-level testing.
- Experience designing and executing end-to-end automated tests.
- Good programming or scripting skills and willingness to learn Java; Java is preferred, while Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, C#, or PHP experience is also suitable.
- Experience with test automation frameworks.
- Comfort using or enthusiasm for adopting AI and agentic tools in the day-to-day engineering workflow.
Nice to have
- Experience with Playwright, Cucumber, or other test automation frameworks.
