Business Systems Analyst (Oracle/OBIEE)

Location: Hybrid role in La Vergne, Tennessee, with 3 days in the office; candidates must be in or willing to relocate to the Nashville, TN region.

Hiring salary range: $65,224–$82,466 annually.

What you will do

• Participate in the product development lifecycle for Oracle Financial, OBIEE, and related reporting applications.
• Gather business requirements and translate them into technical requirements, scope definitions, process flows, and functional specifications.
• Create, maintain, troubleshoot, and analyze Oracle, AutoReports, and OBIEE reports for internal and external customers.
• Support QA by preparing test plans and analyzing gaps between functional specifications and prototypes.
• Provide first-level support for financial system and reporting problem tickets.
• Maintain ship methods, assist with representative setup, and monitor system health checks.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computing, Digital Media, or a related field, or directly related year-for-year experience.
• At least 1 year of experience working with applications.
• Ability to gather and document business requirements and produce functional and technical specifications.
• Ability to use word-processing, spreadsheet, and drawing tools to document findings.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of OBIEE Reporting Applications and Oracle Financial Applications.
• Knowledge of SQL.
• Knowledge of the company’s organization, operating procedures, and policies.
• Knowledge of IT development processes.
• Technical project management skills.
