Growth Program Manager (AI)

Location: San Francisco, CA; New York, NY. The pay transparency notice also lists Seattle as a location for this full-time position.

Base salary: $180,800–$226,000 USD annually, with potential equity and benefits.

What you will do

• Set program strategy, define goals, identify growth levers, and allocate investment.
• Own execution and outcomes across pipeline, conversion, time-to-productive, and retention.
• Build and manage teams, hire leads, and set expectations and performance standards.
• Develop expert pipelines through targeted outreach, new channels, and creative approaches.
• Build AI workflows and automations for sourcing, outreach, screening, onboarding, reporting, enrichment, triage, quality checks, and dashboards.
• Run experiments, establish reporting, create playbooks, partner with growth and operations stakeholders, and hand off programs after they reach steady state.

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience in program operations, growth, recruiting or workforce operations, strategy and operations, or a similar role.
• End-to-end program ownership, from strategy through execution, including accountability for resolving problems.
• Ability to move between strategic planning and detailed execution, including spreadsheet-based work.
• Experience building and managing teams, ideally distributed or contractor-based.
• Strong prioritization and judgment when workload exceeds available time.
• Data-driven approach, including defining metrics, analyzing funnels, making decisions from imperfect data, and independently using SQL or Python.
• High agency, ownership, and comfort building from ambiguity.
• Experience building and using AI workflows, automations, or tools such as Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor, Claude Code, n8n, Zapier, Make, Retool, or Apps Script; at least one built workflow, automation, or tool must have been used by others.
• Clear and concise written and verbal communication.

• Experience scaling a program through rapid growth.
• Background in recruiting at hirify.global, talent sourcing, growth marketing, or community building.
• Experience in marketplace, gig, or external workforce businesses.
