What you will do

• Support annual and quarterly People planning, including priorities, timelines, dependencies, milestones, workforce planning, budgeting, and organizational planning.
• Lead cross-functional People initiatives and special projects from scoping through implementation, especially where ownership is unclear or multiple functions are involved.
• Create workstreams, ownership models, governance, milestones, decision points, escalation paths, documentation, playbooks, and repeatable processes.
• Research unfamiliar People topics, gather stakeholder input, synthesize findings, and prepare recommendations and leadership-ready materials.
• Track progress, risks, dependencies, tradeoffs, resource constraints, decisions, and commitments for the Chief of Staff and People leadership.
• Use AI, automation, and other tools to reduce manual coordination and improve program execution.

Requirements

• 8+ years of relevant experience in People/HR programs, program management, People Operations, business operations, HR project management, or a related field.
• Demonstrated experience leading complex, cross-functional programs in a fast-moving organization.
• Strong AI fluency and interest in building with AI and automation to improve People work.
• Strong program and project management skills, including the ability to create structure when the path is not obvious.
• Excellent organization, listening, writing, communication, stakeholder management, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities, stakeholders, and dependencies and synthesize complex or incomplete information into clear recommendations and actionable plans.
• Strong judgment, calm practical problem solving under pressure, and discretion with sensitive employee or business matters.
• Comfort working across varied People topics without being the subject-matter expert in every discipline.
• Builder mindset, comfort with ambiguity, and ability to adjust quickly when business priorities change.
