Growth Program Manager (AI)

Location: San Francisco, CA; New York, NY. The posting also references Seattle as a location for the full-time position.

Base salary: $180,800–$226,000 USD per year, plus potential equity and benefits.

What you will do

• Set program strategy, define goals, identify growth levers, and allocate resources.
• Own programs end to end, including pipeline, conversion, time-to-productive, and retention outcomes.
• Build and manage teams, hire leads, and establish expectations and performance standards.
• Develop expert pipelines through targeted outreach, new channels, and creative sourcing approaches.
• Build AI workflows and automations for sourcing, outreach, screening, onboarding, reporting, enrichment, triage, quality checks, and dashboards.
• Run experiments, establish reporting, partner with growth, operations, project teams, and vendors, and hand off programs once they reach steady state.

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience in program operations, growth, recruiting or workforce operations, strategy and operations, or a similar role.
• End-to-end ownership of a program, from strategy through execution and problem resolution.
• Ability to move between strategic planning and detailed execution, including spreadsheet-based work.
• Experience building and managing teams, ideally distributed or contractor-based.
• Strong prioritization, judgment, ownership, and ability to work through ambiguity.
• Data-driven approach with experience defining metrics, analyzing funnels, and using SQL or Python for independent analysis.
• Experience building AI workflows, automations, or tools used by others, using tools such as Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor, Claude Code, n8n, Zapier, Make, Retool, or Apps Script.
• Clear and concise written and verbal communication across Slack and email.

Nice to have

• Experience scaling a program through rapid growth.
• Background in recruiting at scale, talent sourcing, growth marketing, or community building.
• Experience in marketplace, gig, or external workforce businesses.
