Senior Content Designer, National Impact

Location: Hybrid, based in the Menlo Park, CA or New York, NY offices, with in-person attendance expected at least 3 days per week. The position is restricted to US citizens or lawful permanent residents due to legal requirements.

Base pay: $145,000–$170,000 USD for Zone 1 locations; $128,000–$150,000 USD for Zone 2; $113,000–$133,000 USD for Zone 3. The role is also eligible for bonuses, equity, and benefits.

What you will do

• Craft and refine UI content across new product experiences.
• Own terminology, content patterns, and design interaction decisions.
• Build and maintain scalable content systems for large-scale initiatives.
• Influence product and design direction through executive and external-stakeholder presentations.
• Mentor the content and design community through reviews and standards.
• Use AI tools to prototype and pressure-test content patterns while applying independent quality judgment.

Requirements

• Strong content design experience, including building content systems and maintaining consistent terminology at scale.
• Experience leading content strategy for a complex, high-visibility product.
• A portfolio demonstrating content craft and systems thinking.
• Proficiency in Figma and comfort working directly in design files with product designers.
• Excellent communication and cross-functional stakeholder partnership skills.
• Experience in large, matrixed organizations, including presenting to leadership.
• Strong attention to detail, comfort with ambiguity and tight timelines, and confidence shaping product direction.
• Willingness and curiosity to use AI in content work.
• Must be a US citizen or lawful permanent resident.
