Sr Staff UX Designer (AIRS UX)

Location: Seattle, Washington, United States; most teams work from the office full time.

Salary: $123,100–$199,100 per year; additional compensation may include restricted stock units and a bonus.

What you will do

• Collaborate with product and engineering teams to design new features and refine existing experiences for the Strata Cloud Manager platform.
• Assess user experiences, develop visual and interaction concepts, and align product design with business objectives.
• Conduct and support user research, usability testing, and customer feedback activities to generate actionable insights.
• Contribute to the design system, component documentation, storyboards, wireframes, prototypes, visual mockups, and style guides.
• Create innovative interactive data visualizations and support branding and Go-To-Market initiatives.
• Provide design vision and leadership while collaborating with UX, product, front-end, and back-end stakeholders.

Requirements

• 5+ years of UX/UI design experience with a strong portfolio demonstrating design principles and user-centered design.
• Experience across the full design cycle, including concept development, research, scoping, wireframing, prototyping, and user testing.
• Experience designing complex web applications, enterprise software, and scalable user-centric solutions.
• Hands-on experience designing SaaS products with emphasis on functionality, usability, and user experience.
• Ability to create personas, user journeys, storyboards, and user flows and to iterate designs based on research and user feedback.
• Strong documentation and presentation skills, including the ability to explain design rationale to product and engineering stakeholders.
• Understanding of accessibility standards, responsive design, and development processes.
• Portfolio demonstrating typography, color theory, layout design, pixel-perfect mockups, interactive prototypes, usability principles, and web-based UX/UI examples.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills; mastery of Figma and modern AI-assisted prototyping platforms such as Claude Code; ability to integrate AI tooling into design workflows.

Nice to have

• B.A. in UX Design, Graphic Design, or a related field.
• Comfort with front-end development and React, with an understanding of technical feasibility and delivery timelines.
• Experience with B2B enterprise software.
• Security domain knowledge.
• Up-to-date knowledge of current design and UX trends.
