Product Manager, Case Execution (Healthcare)

Location: Williamsburg, NY, United States; hybrid. Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States without current or future employer sponsorship.

Salary: $145K–$180K plus equity.

What you will do

• Own product initiatives from discovery through delivery, including problem investigation, requirements definition, prioritization, engineering partnership, launch, measurement, and iteration.
• Improve federal and state Independent Dispute Resolution workflows across eligibility, claim batching, negotiation, and arbitration.
• Work with operations to identify manual steps, exceptions, bottlenecks, and processes that must evolve as the business scales.
• Write SQL, learn data models, analyze claim funnel performance, quantify opportunities, and evaluate product impact.
• Translate stakeholder input, operational details, and analysis into clear problem statements, requirements, and success metrics.
• Align product, operations, and engineering on tradeoffs, dependencies, blockers, and next steps.

Requirements

• Approximately 2–5 years of experience in product management, strategy and operations, business operations, or a similarly analytical role with meaningful ownership of cross-functional initiatives.
• Strong SQL skills, including independently querying data, investigating unfamiliar tables, validating findings, and using analysis to inform decisions.
• Experience taking a complex, ambiguous problem from initial investigation through a delivered solution and measurable results.
• Experience partnering directly with engineering and operational stakeholders to translate business needs into product or workflow improvements.
• Ability to identify underlying problems, prioritize high-impact opportunities, and break work into achievable steps.
• Strong writing skills for creating clear problem statements, product requirements, and concise updates.
• Resourceful, self-directed, collaborative, adaptable, and comfortable challenging assumptions, explaining tradeoffs, and saying no when needed.
• Familiarity with AI tools such as Claude for analysis, research, and documentation, with sound judgment about validating outputs and taking responsibility for the work.
• Motivation for hands-on execution and growing product ownership; formal product management or healthcare experience is not required.

Nice to have

• Startup experience building products or processes with limited resources.
• Experience in healthcare, fintech, or another operationally complex industry with detailed rules and workflows.
• Experience building internal tools, automating manual processes, or improving products used by operational teams.
• Experience analyzing conversion funnels, defining product metrics, or measuring workflow efficiency.
• Experience working with third-party vendors, integrations, or external data.
