Principal Product Manager, Contract Management (Healthcare)

Location: United States; hybrid role requiring residence in or near one of the designated collaboration hubs: Costa Mesa, San Jose, Allen, Austin, Franklin, New York, Schaumburg, Washington, D.C., Atlanta, Boston, or Seattle. Travel up to 40% of the time is required.

Salary: $157,667–$283,801.

What you will do

• Own strategy and roadmap for contract modeling, rate management, fee schedules, contract loading, underpayment detection, compliance and renegotiation support, analytics, and reporting.
• Lead discovery and strategy for complex opportunities in contract modeling, fee schedule management, and underpayment detection.
• Set portfolio-level investment priorities and build cost, revenue, and ROI business cases with outcome-based OKRs.
• Guide large and complex engineering teams or lead discovery for high-impact new opportunities, maintaining rigorous requirements and launch standards.
• Use AI and prototyping to de-risk ambiguous, cross-team, and regulated contract-modeling initiatives while coaching responsible use.
• Manage strategic customer relationships and support internal PLM, compliance, procurement, regulatory, and data-protection processes for payer contracts and rate capabilities.

Requirements

• 10+ years of product management experience, including ownership of the largest or most complex product areas within a portfolio.
• Experience in healthcare revenue cycle management, payer contracting, or reimbursement methodology; direct experience with contract modeling, fee schedules, or underpayment detection is strongly preferred.
• Experience independently guiding large or complex engineering teams or leading discovery for impactful new product bets.
• Experience building business cases and financial models and securing investment through cost, revenue, and ROI analysis.
• Experience owning and repairing strategic, high-stakes customer relationships.
• Hands-on experience with chat-based AI assistants, agentic tools, and development-integrated or prototyping tools, including coaching others on responsible use.
• Must reside in or near a designated Collaboration Hub and be able to travel up to 40% of the time.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with regulatory and data-protection requirements such as HIPAA.
