Production Supervisor (Aerospace)

Location: Onsite at the Huntsville, Alabama, United States facility; 2nd shift, with possible 12-hour 24/7 scheduling and 3rd-shift coverage as needed.

What you will do

• Lead and support an assigned production area, focusing on safety, risk reduction, and improvements.
• Plan daily work, assign resources, monitor results, and maintain production progress and workflow.
• Hire, mentor, counsel, and coach employees on performance and company policies and procedures.
• Monitor process constraints, equipment, staffing, and resources; implement cost reductions and recovery actions.
• Compile shift production summaries and analyze production performance records and data.
• Coordinate equipment repairs and evaluate new equipment and production techniques.

Requirements

• High school diploma or bachelor's degree in a related field.
• At least 3 years of experience in a manufacturing leadership or supervisory role.
• Willingness to work a 3rd-shift schedule as needed, including 24/7 coverage.
• Must be a U.S. citizen, green card holder, political asylee, or refugee to apply.
• English proficiency is required for the role.

Nice to have

• Experience in a 24/7 production environment or aerospace manufacturing.
• Working knowledge of lean manufacturing, continuous improvement tools, and 5S.
