Production Supervisor (Manufacturing)

Location: Lawrenceburg, Kentucky, United States. Onsite production role with a 2-2-3 rotating schedule and required overtime, including weekends and days off when needed.

What you will do

• Lead and coordinate all activities for assigned production shifts, including safety, quality, workflow, staffing, material handling, and maintenance.
• Coach and mentor associates and team leads to improve effectiveness, efficiency, safety practices, output, quality, and shift handoffs.
• Lead Tier 1 meetings and support associates in developing meeting leadership skills.
• Use Lean Manufacturing principles, data analysis, and standard work to reduce scrap, material usage, waste, and process inefficiencies.
• Address performance issues, evaluate work performance, and drive continuous improvement across teams and individuals.
• Attend shift change meetings and ensure operational concerns are addressed while plant operations are active.

Requirements

• Demonstrated experience working in a high-performance manufacturing environment.
• Ability to understand, communicate, and improve key performance metrics.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage plant expectations, multiple complex tasks, and pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to motivate, communicate, lead, solve problems, and drive continuous improvement.
• Critical-thinking and strong analytical abilities.
• Good written and oral communication skills.
• Solid planning, leadership, administrative, and business management skills, with the ability to manage manufacturing operations toward bottom-line results.
• Strong Microsoft Office skills.
• Ability to lift or move up to 50 pounds and walk frequently.
• Ability to work overtime before or after normal start times, on weekends, and on days off to cover supervisor vacations and special projects.

Nice to have

• Bachelor’s degree.
• 3–5 years of supervising or management experience in manufacturing.
