Manufacturing Production Supervisor

Location: Charlotte, North Carolina, United States; onsite manufacturing role. Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States without current or future employer-sponsored work authorization.

What you will do

• Lead machinists, rotor winders, assemblers, and balancers in large generator rotor manufacturing and servicing.
• Conduct shift handovers and team huddles focused on safety, production goals, and assignments.
• Ensure compliance with safe work practices and address deficiencies or violations.
• Collaborate across shifts and departments to identify and resolve production issues.
• Allocate workforce, support employee training, authorize and evaluate overtime, and maintain accurate attendance records.
• Monitor customer requirements, adjust production schedules, analyze metrics, and promote continuous improvement using 5S within a Lean production framework.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or associate degree with relevant experience in manufacturing operations.
• Familiarity with Lean manufacturing principles.
• Legal authorization to work in the United States without current or future employer-sponsored work authorization.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of large rotating equipment and manufacturing processes.
• Understanding of machining processes and tools.
