Legal Counsel - US (Fintech)

What you will do

• Oversee corporate governance, entity maintenance, and compliance across US holding, hiring/services, and infrastructure entities.
• Draft, negotiate, and manage corporate transactions, financing agreements, equity matters, and credit lines.
• Structure and negotiate US commercial partnerships, vendor contracts, and employment or service-provider agreements.
• Manage complex legal tasks across multiple entity types and support priorities beyond the defined scope of work.

Requirements

• 3–4 years of experience as a law firm associate with exposure to corporate, commercial, or employment law.
• Strong understanding of US corporate structures, venture financing, and credit lines.
• Experience working with or strong cultural understanding of LatAm cross-border dynamics.
• Juris Doctor from an accredited law school and active state bar admission in good standing.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication.
• Ability to manage complex legal work independently, resolve conflicting priorities, and meet project deadlines.
• Strong problem-solving skills, sound judgment, and ability to make decisions in ambiguous situations.

Nice to have

• Experience advising high-growth fintechs or startups on cross-border US/LatAm transactions.
• Spanish or Portuguese language skills.
