Senior React Developer

Location: Hybrid working with office attendance in Stockport once a week and the remainder working from home; applicants must have the legal right to work in the UK.

Salary: £60,000–£80,000 per annum, dependent on experience.

hirify.global is partnering with a growing organisation developing a new modern digital platform.

What you will do

• Build core platform features and responsive, reusable interfaces using React and TypeScript.
• Integrate REST APIs, microservices, and third-party services.
• Contribute to architecture, technical decisions, development standards, and best practices.
• Own features from design through deployment while collaborating with the IT Director, Lead Developer, technical, and product teams.
• Implement automated testing, CI/CD pipelines, application security, and data protection.
• Introduce AI tools to improve development workflows.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of software development experience.
• Strong React, TypeScript, and JavaScript skills with experience building scalable front-end applications.
• Backend knowledge of Node.js, Bun.js, or similar, plus REST APIs and microservices experience.
• Understanding of responsive design, performance, application security, and authentication.
• PostgreSQL or similar database experience.
• Familiarity with AWS, GCP, Infrastructure as Code, GitHub Actions, CI/CD, and automated testing.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills, with the ability to take ownership and work independently.
• Legal right to work in the UK.

Nice to have

• Experience in a regulated industry, particularly healthcare or fintech.
• Familiarity with AI-assisted development tools.
• Greenfield project experience.
