Frontend Developer (Insurance)

Location: Liverpool City Centre HQ / Hybrid, with three days per week in the office

Salary: £45,000–£55,000 per year, depending on experience

What you will do

• Build and maintain responsive web applications using React, Next.js and TypeScript.
• Work with designers and backend engineers to deliver high-quality, user-focused features.
• Contribute to shared component libraries and improve the design system.
• Monitor and improve frontend performance and user experience using Sentry and PostHog.
• Write clean, maintainable and testable code, participate in code reviews and pairing, and contribute to CI/CD delivery.
• Share ideas, take ownership of features, and contribute to retrospectives and continuous improvement.

Requirements

• Experience building applications with React, Next.js or similar frameworks.
• Understanding of modern frontend practices, including responsive design and testing.
• Some experience with TypeScript or a strong desire to learn it.
• Collaborative mindset and interest in product design and usability.
• Curiosity, initiative, willingness to accept feedback, and commitment to continuous learning.
• Desire to grow into a more senior role over time.

Nice to have

• Interest in React Native, accessibility best practices, or modern state management tools such as Redux or Zustand.
