Senior Frontend Engineer (AI)

Location: Hybrid in London, United Kingdom; occasional onsite work with government clients may be required. Eligibility for UK Security Clearance (SC) may be required.

What you will do

• Build and scale resilient client-facing web applications that present complex machine learning insights.
• Collaborate with data scientists, designers, and engineers throughout the product lifecycle to create intuitive user experiences.
• Architect and maintain reusable design systems and component libraries.
• Establish and maintain CI/CD, development, and deployment workflows with modern cloud infrastructure.
• Champion frontend engineering standards and technical excellence across engineering guilds.
• Mentor, onboard, and support engineers in a continuous-learning environment.

Requirements

• Strong experience building, testing, and scaling modern web applications with React and modern JavaScript or TypeScript.
• Understanding of clean component architecture and experience developing design systems across multiple platforms.
• Experience creating data visualisations with tools such as D3.
• Solid understanding of frontend build tools such as Webpack or Babel.
• Foundational familiarity with backend APIs such as Node.js.
• Exposure to modern cloud environments such as AWS, GCP, or Azure, with an interest in deployment pipelines.
• Ability to collaborate, share ideas, support peers, and turn complex problems into practical solutions.
