Capital Markets Strategy and Operations Analyst (Fintech)

What you will do

• Operationalize revolving credit facilities, whole loan purchase agreements, and asset-backed securitizations supporting consumer finance loan funding and sales.
• Determine loan pool eligibility, prepare loan schedules, agreements, and underwriting documentation, and initiate whole loan sales.
• Coordinate investor and third-party vendor loan reviews, answer questions, evaluate exceptions, and resolve issues with Product, Engineering, Servicing, and Underwriting.
• Manage borrowing base calculations, funding requests, and covenant compliance for revolving warehouse credit facilities.
• Develop and maintain Excel-based Sales Engine and Funding Engine models, identify process improvements, define requirements, and support capital markets software automation.
• Lead investor onboarding, prepare investor and management reporting, analyze funding and sales alternatives, and recommend strategies to leadership.

Requirements

• At least two years of experience in financial modeling and analysis and at least two years in capital markets, treasury, or finance.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Databricks, and AI tools such as Claude.
• Ability to manipulate and analyze large datasets and apply statistical methods.
• Clear written and verbal communication with management, investors, and external parties.
• Solid understanding of capital markets, finance, accounting, and business operations.
• Ability to collaborate across Capital Markets, Legal, Servicing, Underwriting, Product, Engineering, Finance, Accounting, and Business Development.
• Curious, tenacious problem-solving approach, strong teamwork, and professional relationship-building with funding and capital partners.

Nice to have

• Experience in financial services, consumer finance, fintech, or renewable energy finance.
