Finance Manager, Corporate Finance (Fintech)

Location: Hybrid in New York, NY, United States, with another listed location in Warren Township, NJ. Travel required: 0–20%, depending on hiring location.

Salary: $160,000–$185,000 annually, adjusted based on education, experience, skills, internal equity, market data, and geographic location.

What you will do

• Consolidate and report monthly, quarterly, and annual financial performance, including variance analysis against forecasts and budgets, operational metrics, risks, and opportunities.
• Coordinate consolidated strategic and annual planning timelines, deliverables, and review cadence.
• Prepare reporting, variance analysis, and key talking points for owners, debtholders, management meetings, and Board reporting.
• Maintain enterprise financial models covering business projections across the P&L and cash flow, incorporating key business drivers.
• Develop scenario planning and what-if analyses covering market conditions, business decisions, and organizational changes.
• Partner with Accounting and stakeholders across the organization on goodwill, equity, intercompany, allocations, Corporate functions, technology, and enterprise updates.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
• Five or more years of professional experience, including strategic finance or experience in an early-stage business.
• Ability to translate strategic business discussions into structured financial outcomes.
• Extensive financial modeling experience and advanced skills in financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting.
• Strong analytical and quantitative capabilities, with advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills and experience using AI tools.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to synthesize complex information and communicate it clearly at a high level.
• Proactive, resourceful, self-directed approach, intellectual curiosity, and ability to work independently in a fast-paced, challenging, and evolving environment.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to work effectively with senior leaders and business partners.
