Manager IT Support Service-Wake/GA (Healthcare IT)

Location: Atrium Health Floyd Medical Center, 304 Turner McCall Blvd SW, Rome, Georgia, United States; onsite Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m., with after-hours on-call escalation responsibilities.

Pay range: $51.05–$76.60 per hour.

What you will do

• Research, evaluate, and recommend hardware and software solutions for organizational information systems.
• Partner with operational managers and regional leaders to assess technology needs and determine how systems should be installed, configured, and maintained.
• Ensure applications, infrastructure, and local technology services remain available and meet uptime targets.
• Resolve technology problems and service requests in line with service-level objectives, communicate outages and changes, and address site-level issues.
• Lead capacity planning, backup and recovery planning, lifecycle planning, server health monitoring, patching, licensing, and security updates.
• Manage staff responsibilities, budgets, expenditures, employee development, performance, and corrective actions.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Technology, or a related field.
• At least 3 years of experience in information technology and/or project management, including 1 year of supervisory experience managing staff and budgets in an IT environment.
• Demonstrated project management expertise and knowledge of performance management and improvement techniques.
• Excellent verbal and written communication, presentation, organizational, analytical, interpersonal, technical, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience working collaboratively in a team-oriented environment and the ability to work independently, make decisions, and identify high-quality solutions.
• Ability to operate all equipment necessary to perform the job and travel while being exposed to weather and road conditions.
• No licensure, registration, or certification is required.
