Structural Project Engineer

Location: San Francisco, California, United States

Salary: $92,000–$120,000 annually.

What you will do

• Lead and refine structural analysis, design, and detailing tasks.
• Organize project information, review junior staff work, and tailor deliverables to project scope and contractor needs.
• Coordinate technical decisions with architects and engineers across disciplines.
• Mentor junior team members through delegation and feedback.
• Support project management, proposals, and client-facing opportunities.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Structural, or Architectural Engineering; a Master’s degree is preferred.
• 4+ years of structural engineering experience.
• Experience designing steel, concrete, and timber systems.
• Proficiency with SAP2000, ETABS, RAM, StructurePoint Software, and Revit.
• Professional Engineer (PE) and/or Structural Engineer (SE) licensure is preferred.
• Ability to solve complex problems, balance priorities, and adapt designs effectively.
• Strong communication and emerging leadership skills, including mentoring junior staff.
